Strict UTC alignment
Round timing does not depend on a player's device clock or selected display timezone. Local timezone options change presentation only; the underlying UTC candle and final result remain identical for every player.
ETH180
The settlement method is designed to be repeatable: fixed round boundaries, completed candles, two public exchange sources and an audit record that explains the final digit.
Open ETH180 →Round timing does not depend on a player's device clock or selected display timezone. Local timezone options change presentation only; the underlying UTC candle and final result remain identical for every player.
A live candle can change until it closes. ETH180 therefore waits until the defined three-minute window has finished before requesting settlement data and uses the completed close rather than a temporary live price.
If one exchange response is missing, the service retries at fixed intervals. It never replaces a missing exchange digit with an estimate. A round without complete source data is delayed and can ultimately be voided.
Each completed round retains source responses and calculation fields needed for review. A result hash makes later changes detectable and supports operational auditing of the settlement service.
